i caught ride the cyclone last month (?) at theatre passe muraille. and still cannot believe it. can’t believe it. it just made us smile for hours and hours and days. it’s got everything: a headless nameless opera singer, a teen polish rapper, a rat that plays base, a gay virgin who lost his chance to be that fucked up girl.
also, there’s a swinging space age bachelor man. what’s that you ask? it’s when a david bowie-esque superhero goes to a planet ruled by sexy felines and must use his swinging space powers to save the planet from doooooom.
that is precisely how they roll.
i would pay cash money for the cast recording of ride the cyclone. make it happen, people in ride the cyclone!
